My mind is blown. To really make a show like this, the set and lighting play an integral part, and the way he approached the decks amongst subtly growing strobe lights and holograms gave me incredible goosebumps before the set even properly began.
Definitely Grammy worthy through and through. He cancelled the concert one day before. No additional information was provided that could justify this unrespectible act with his public. I had planned this trip to Vegas especially because he was going to play there, but one day before, we received the email informing that he would no longer perform due his upcoming retirement.
We ended up getting the refund for the ticket, but the fees and taxes were not reimbursed. It was such a disappointment. Avicii went on stage very late AM and started a set of about an hour of random remixes to various known and unknown songs by other artists, creating a very shocked and unpleasent atmosphere in the crowd. By the time his first familiar song came up, people were sitting around and some started leaving.
I'd wanted to see Avicii live since before he became mainstream and I finally got to see him this year at Earls court in London; all I can say is wow! He was absolutely amazing and the rush we got from his music and all the dancing and atmosphere was so intense I can say I loved every minute of it! I would recommend anyone going to see him live he is fantastic!
Avicii was awesome! Wish he wasn't retiring this year. Thinking of going back to Vegas just to see him one last time. His set had everyone dancing and jumping. He played all his classics and then some.
